Join our group meetings for those parenting children with FASD, ASD, and/or other complex needs. We will be meeting over TEAMS on the second Tuesday every three months at 6.30pm. The theme will be Mental Health with Complex Needs. Registration will open one month before each session.
Join us for our virtual group on Caring for Children with Complex Needs, for those currently parenting children with FASD, ASD, and/or other complex needs.
Kathy Buhler, parent in residence, from Family Smart will be doing a presentation on Mental Health with Complex Needs.
The session will be hosted by Angie McMullen, Family Support Worker, and Dusty Laursen, who supports neurodiverse children. Dusty adopted her 21-year old son at age 13, recently adopted 12-year old twins, and is also a foster parent to another 12-year old. Angie is a parent to three children, including two young adults, and a 12-year old who came home through a family adoption.
