Infant and child adoption



With more access to family planning and a wider acceptance of and support for single parents, there are fewer newborns and infants available to adopt in British Columbia.

While some people do go on to adopt a newborn or infant, others widen their options and consider adopting a toddler or child who may range in age from two to 19 years old.

There are two options to adopt an infant or child in BC. You can adopt through:

Meet the Destobels
