Do you like being small
or do you wish you were tall?

Are there freckles on your nose?
Do you have really big toes?

I’m waiting for you,
Are you waiting for me?

Do you like to climb to the top
or are you scared you will drop?

When it rains, do you like to cuddle?
Or would you rather jump in puddles?

I’m waiting for you,
Are you waiting for me?

Do you like to run really fast
Or do your friends go right past?

When you play hide-and-seek,
If you count, do you peek?

I’m waiting for you,
Are you waiting for me?

Are you very quiet when you play
or do you laugh and shout all day?

Do you like to be lifted high,
Or are you a little bit shy?

I’m waiting for you,
Are you waiting for me?

Do you think bubbles are fun,
making rainbows in the sun?

Or do you make bubbles go POP
And then laugh ‘til you can’t stop.

I’m waiting for you,
Are you waiting for me?

When you look up at the stars,
Do you dream of going far?

Or is your dream closer to home,
A place to stay ‘til you’re grown?

God sees that you need a Dad,
Who’ll comfort you when you’re sad.

God sees that you need a Mom,
Who will love you ‘til kingdom come.

I’m waiting for you,
You’re the one for me.
