Your intercountry adoption journey begins here with need-to-know information and links to relevant sites. Researching intercountry adoption can be a daunting task, and AFABC will provide you with the best education and support you need to get started, and to navigate you throughout the course of your adoption journey.

Adoption 101 is the perfect workshop to begin that journey, followed by the other core workshops that we offer.

We work together with the BC Licensed Agencies that facilitate local and international adoptions and the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) that works to find families for over 1000 children here in BC.

Each year over 250 children from all over the world, are adopted by BC families. AFABC provides support for all adoptive families before during and long after children come home.

AFABC gratefully acknowledges the financial support of The BC Gaming Commission.
