The Adoptive Families Association of BC and the Ministry of Children and Family Development invite you to join us for the Celebrating Family Adoption Conference in acknowledgement of 30 years of our work in supporting adoptive families.

This conference is designed for both families and professionals. Families can learn skills, and techniques that can help them interact with their children in a healthier way. Adoption professionals will have the opportunity to gain insight into the latest research in the adoption field.

We are happy to have with us some of North America’s best experts on adoption issues such as attachment, FASD, teen adoption, adoption transitions, openness, and intercultural and transcultural adoption issues.

**Please note that this conference is intended for adult family members and adoption professionals. As a result, there will be no childcare available on premises during the day.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations of registration must be received by November 16^th, 2007
No refunds will be given for cancellation after November 16^th, 2007
AFABC is not responsible for cancelling room bookings. The registrant is responsible for cancelling accommodations in accordance with hotel cancellation policy.
Cancellations must be made by email, fax, telephone or in person.
Refunds will be mailed within 30 days.
