Adoption Awareness Month November is Adoption Awareness Month and the Adoptive Families Association is inviting you to help us celebrate adoption and create awareness however you can! In this section of the site you will discover all of our amazing events that will be happening throughout the month, as well as an activity guide to give you and your family ideas about how you can celebrate this month in your home! Adoption Awareness Month offers you a special opportunity to promote, educate, advocate for, and dialogue about adoption. Newspapers run stories about adoption. Businesses, schools, and libraries display information about adoption. Restaurants and stores donate their proceeds to support adoption. But this doesn’t happen without you!
