Description: Welcomes all families parenting children of African heritage to "come play." $3 drop-in fee per child.
Location: Burnaby Boys & Girls Club at 518 Howard Street (1 block South of Hastings).

True Colours Mentoring, Kelowna
A joint project of the Adoptive Families Association of BC and the Okanagan Boys & Girls Clubs! A mentoring program for children of colour from any heritage that live with foster families or who have joined their family through adoption.
Location: Okanagan Boys & Girls clubs Rutland Centre at 355 Hartman Road, Kelowna BC

- Oct 18: Hispanic History Month;
- Nov 15: First Nation Heritage Month;
- Dec 13: Ramadam;
- Jan 27: Chinese Lunar New Year;
- Feb 14: Race Relations Day/Black History Month;
- Mar 07: Naw Ruz Persia (time or renewal and joy);
- Apr 18: Sinhala New Year Sri Lanka;
- May 16: Cinquo de Mayo;
- Jun 13: Luzo-Brazilian Month.
Cost: $5 per child drop in fee (family rate $15) Children five years old and under must be accompanied by an adult
