Children, from babies to teens, need families.
Currently, there are 390 teens registered to be adopted and who wait for their forever families. Last year, 28 kids over the age of 12 were adopted, a huge increase from 2001-2002 year, when there were less than 10 teen adoptions. These numbers, just released from the Ministry, demonstrate that more and more teens are being adopted, and more teens are choosing adoption as their plan.
This section of the website is here to answer your questions about teen adoption, provide some resource links that deal specifically with teen adoption, introduce you to some teens whose lives have changed because they were adopted and tell you the process for adopting a teen.
If you are parenting a teen who is in foster care, has experience in care, or experience with adoption, read about our Speak-Out Youth Group; it might be a good fit for your teen!
