There are hundreds of children and youth in BC foster care who are waiting for adoptive families. Come and learn about the Adopt BC Kids program.

SPECIAL UPDATE: Due to COVID precautionary measures, we will be holding this event via videoconferencing only, using Zoom, a free videoconferencing program from your computer, smartphone, or tablet.

***We will share the link and instructions a week before the event via email***

Topics include: who are the children, why they come into care, special placement needs, the adoption process and key issues for families. Co-presented by AFABC and the Ministry of Children and Family Development.

Audience: Prospective adoptive parents.

Registration notes:

 - Couples, please register only one person, and log in together. 

 - Singles are welcome to attend alone or may have a friend/support person. If you live with your friend/support person, please register only one person, and log in together.

This session is for adults only. If you will have children at home with you during the session, please ensure they are occupied, preferably in another room. If they are very young and in the same room as you, please mute your device and try to keep them away from your webcam. Thank you!
