UPDATE: POSTPONED

I'm so sorry to announce that this event is being postponed due to a family emergency. We will reschedule as soon as possible. Apologies for any inconvenience this has caused, and thank you for your understanding.

For our next Facebook Live, we're happy to bring on Tara Pugh, an adoptive parent and long-time Educational Assistant working in the public school system, who will be talking about Individual Education Plans: How to make the most of your child's IEP meeting. The Facebook Live takes place on Wednesday, September 22 from 4:30-5pm (not our usual noon time!) and the post-Facebook Live Discussion immediately afterwards will run from 5-6pm (PDT).

Join us to learn more about Individual Education Plans, why your child might need one, how to work with your child's teachers, and how to make the most out of the sometimes stressful IEP meeting. Come ask questions, meet other parents, and discuss how you've navigated past IEP meetings!

This event page is to sign up for the post-Live Discussion.

To watch the Facebook Live, where you will be able to ask questions of Tara in the comments, have the AFABC Facebook page open at 4:30pm (PDT), and the Live will pop up: https://www.facebook.com/bcadopt
