This online workshop includes topics such as trauma-informed parenting, and transitions related to bed/meal times, back to school, and holidays. Parents will learn strategies to manage expectations and practice attunement.

Are you a parent or caregiver raising children who have experienced trauma? This workshop is for you.

Join facilitator Ashleigh Martinflatt and other permanency caregivers to learn the essentials of trauma-informed care.

Through interactive group discussions, breakout rooms, and live Q&As you’ll discover the power of trauma-informed parenting and learn how to truly 'tune in' to your child.

You'll leave with practical, realistic strategies you can apply right away in your everyday life.

This workshop will be led by Ashleigh Martinflatt. With more than 20 years of experience in the permanency field, Ashleigh has dedicated her career to supporting the needs of children and youth in and from care as a clinical counsellor and university professor. She holds a Master of Social Work degree and is a Ph.D. candidate in Child and Youth Care. Most importantly, she is also a parent through adoption.
