Join our monthly support group meetings for those currently parenting children with FASD or suspected to have FASD. This month's theme is: A new spin on self care with discussion around how escapism fits in, very quick things you can do to improve your mindset, and how to create routines for your kids so they don't need your attention all the time.

Join us on Tuesday, July 13th at 6:30 pm for our virtual FASD Parenting Support Group meeting for those currently parenting children with FASD or suspected to have FASD.

The theme this month will be: A new spin on self care with discussion around how escapism fits in, very quick things you can do to improve your mindset, and how to create routines for your kids so they don't need your attention all the time.

The group will meet on the 2nd Tuesday of every other month in 2021: January, March, May, July, September, and November.

The group will be hosted by Dusty Laursen, who supports neurodiverse children, and Angie McMullen, Family Support Worker at AFABC. Dusty adopted her 21-year old son at age 13, recently adopted 12-year old twins, and is also a foster parent to another 12-year old. Angie adopted her 11-year old son as an infant, plus has two adult biological sons.

We look forward to meeting you at the FASD Parenting Support Group meeting!
