Come learn about the Adopt BC Kids program and what it takes to adopt a child from foster care.

Due to COVID precautionary measures, we will be holding this event via Microsoft Teams, a free videoconferencing program from your computer, smartphone, or tablet.

Topics include: who are the children, why they come into care, special placement needs, the adoption process and key issues for families. Co-presented by AFABC and the Ministry of Children and Family Development.

To ensure all participants have a basic level of understanding of adoption in BC, please watch this short online presentation PRIOR TO participating in the info session: https://www.bcadoption.com/sites/default/files/ABasics/story_html5.html

Audience: Prospective adoptive parents.

Registration notes:

 - Couples, please register only one person, and log in together.

 - Singles are also welcome to attend

This session is for adults only. If you will have children at home with you during the session, please ensure they are occupied, preferably in another room.
