Building capacity for families: Effective approaches to addressing aggressive behaviours
Families nationwide have spoken, and the need for professionals who understand Aggression towards Family/Caregivers in Childhood and Adolescence (AFCCA) is clear.
If you are a professional or service provider supporting families with children and youth showing aggressive behaviours, this webinar is for you. Join Maude Champagne and Tanya Eichler, Clinical Leads for Adopt4Life’s AFCCA Family Supports Program, to learn essential tools and strategies to effectively support families.
These are the key takeaways you can expect from the webinar:
- Knowledge about aggression toward parents/caregivers in childhood and adolescence
- Improved ability to identify and address the needs of families facing AFCCA
- Understanding of the relationship between neurodevelopmental disabilities (FASD, ASD, ADHD, etc.), trauma, and AFCCA.
