This is an innovative new workshop designed to prepare adoptive families as they navigate the critical and often overwhelmingly challenging first two years of placement.

This interactive workshop provides a toolkit of hands-on strategies that will ensure families are prepared with realistic expectations, knowledge, and specific skills.

Note: All participants must have completed the Adoption Education Program.

  • Dates: April 20, 2017 - 9AM to 3PM

  • Location:  UNBC Library Building - The Gathering Place 3333 University Way, Prince George, BC V2N 4Z9

  • Cost: AFABC Members $20; Non-Members $25 

  • Food: AM Coffee and snacks provided. Please bring your own lunch or you can purchase from nearby food vendors.

Note: This workshop is for adults only please. We require a minimum of 10 participants to run the workshop.
