Come learn about adopting a child, youth, or sibling set through AdoptBCKids!

Topics include: who are the children, why they come into care, special placement needs, the adoption process and key issues for families. Co-presented by AFABC and MCFD.
 

Audience: Prospective adoptive parents. Couples, please attend together. Singles are welcome to attend with a friend or support person. This session is for adults only. Please arrange for childcare if required.

Arrival: Please plan to arrive 5 minutes prior to start time for this event. Front door will be opened by 6:50pm.

The session is hosted on the 2nd floor with stair access only. If you require an accessible space, we have a smaller ground floor room available. Please contact us upon registration if you require an accessible space so we may book the room. 

Parking: Free parking in spots labeled "suite 200" or on Winston Street.

Note: This workshop is for adults only please. This course is often waitlisted. Please notify us at sreid@bcadoption.com if you need to cancel. 


We require a minimum of 10 attendees to host the session. If less than 10 people register, a cancelation notice will be sent by email a minimum of 48 hours before the event.
