This workshop is designed to prepare adoptive and permanency families as they navigate the critical and often challenging first two years of placement. This workshop covers topics such as transitions, behaviour, attachment, and openness. Our interactive workshop provides a toolkit of hands-on strategies that will ensure families are prepared with realistic expectations, knowledge, and specific skills.
Format: This course is composed of three 1.5-hour online workshops.

Activities: Presented in an online multi-media format, activities include: live presentations, group discussions, videos, articles, and homework assignments.
