School can be a challenging environment for children who have joined their family by adoption. This webinar is a must for adoptive parents of school-aged children and the education professionals in their lives.

Join this one-hour on-demand webinar and learn how to be an ally for adopted children and their families in the classroom and school environment. This webinar is open to education professionals, and prospective & adoptive parents.

Presenter: Jennifer Hillman is an adoptive mother of three, and an Adoption Support Coordinator for the Adoptive Families Association of BC. Jen liaises with MCFD and AFABC regional and central staff, coordinating volunteers, and overseeing the development & implementation of information, education, social & support programs. Jen has been invited to speak about school issues and adoption at elementary & high schools, PAC meetings, and other community organizations.
