Identity Matters is a two-part advanced webinar series that discusses how to create and/or maintain a positive racial and cultural identity for your adoptive child and cross cultural family. This workshop provides indepth information to help you better understand family identity, cultural heritage, racial identity and how to cope with racism and cultural discrimination. You will hear from a panel of cross cultural adoptive families who will share their real life experiences.  

Your questions will be answered with a live Q & A session with Dr. Lisa Gunderson.

Lisa Gunderson is a Registered Clinical Counsellor who focuses on multicultural issues. An award winning educator and inclusivity consultant for families, educational, and organizational institutions, her PhD is in clinical psychology. For 17 years, she has specialized in issues for racialized youth, including ethnic identity. She lives in Victoria and has 8-and 12-year-old biracial sons.
