Colourful Lives: Voices of Transracial Adoptees
Colourful Lives was designed to give voice to individuals who have been adopted into families of different racial or cultural background than themselves. 11 youth and young adults have come together, with courage and determination, to share their diverse perspectives, and their acquired wisdom. Their stories are as unique as they are -- adopted at different ages, growing up in all different parts of British Columbia, in all different kinds of adoptive families.
They share their feelings about being adopted, successes and challenges in their adoptive families, and their advices for other adoptees and adoptive families.
