If you are considering a reunion or need support as an adoptee or birth parent, we encourage you reach out to us, or to the specialized support groups listed here.
Please note that the following organizations and support groups operate outside of the AFABC umbrella. As such, we may not always agree on content or practices. Please choose and enjoy these groups at your own discretion.

Offers peer support meetings, counselling and advocacy services, guest speakers, panels, and whatever other resources the community wants or needs.

Forget Me Not Family Society
Offers education, peer counselling support to people touched by adoption.

Canadian Adoptees Registry, Inc.
A free service provided by a small group of dedicated volunteers. Offers help and assistance to adult adoptees and birth families that are seeking to learn more about, and perhaps make contact with each other.
