Support groups

Please note: All in-person support groups are on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Read more about AFABC's response to COVID-19. We've added virtual support groups in the meantime! Check out our schedule on our online support page. 

Many different support groups are hosted across the province. Some groups have an educational focus while others emphasize the value of connecting adoptive parents who share similar experiences. There are also playgroups for young children and parents, and community groups that operate outside of AFABC, that we would be happy to connect you with!

We also offer online groups that bring together families facing unique circumstances or challenges, or that connect those in remote locations.
