This is an honest account of one adoptive mother's difficulties in loving and attaching to her daughter adopted from China. Though she calls what she experienced post-adoption depression, it comes over as an account of a woman overwhelmed with the sacrifices and changes involved in becoming a good parent again. A good read for anyone who feels the same way.
